Directions by bus or train

  • Best bet: Trailways buses run frequently to and from New Paltz.

  • Convenient but infrequent: CoachUSA offers buses to Ellenville once per day from NYC.

  • Nice ride, longer drive: Amtrak to Poughkeepsie or New Jersey Transit to Middletown are both options but include longer travel to the retreat center after pick up.

Carpools or taxis can be arranged from drop off locations to Mabel’s Rest as needed.
